UPDATE: Mountain biker taken to hospital after Steyning accident

A MAN was taken to hospital after falling of his mountain bike in Steyning on Saturday (April 10).

An ambulance was called to Mouse Lane, Steyning, at 3.45pm and had to move the man, believed to be in his 40s, to a location where the Sussex Police helicopter could pick him up on behalf of the Sussex Air Ambulance.

The man had a suspected hip injury and was taken to Worthing Hospital.
