VIDEO: Durrington coffee artist "world's best"

AN ARTISTIC coffee-maker with a global reputation may be Durrington's best kept secret.

Adrian Lucking, 40, who runs Dinkyccino, has brewed coffee for commuters outside Durrington railway station for the past two years.

Trained at the London School of Coffee by a world champion barista,

Adrian amazes customers with elaborate patterns drawn in the foam of latt drinks.

"I'm hoping to enter barista competitions next year," said Adrian.

"I went to America last year and got behind the counter in Starbucks and showed them how to do it. They were amazed.

"I've just found out that Gordon Ramsay uses the same coffee as me in all of his restaurants.

Best in the world

"He is probably selling it for ten times the amount I am, mind you."

John Capel became a customer when he used to commute to London for work.

He now regularly makes the 15 minute journey from his Goring home for the coffee alone, which he says is better than any he has tasted worldwide.

He said: "I've travelled around the world and had coffee everywhere but this is by far the best coffee. It's well worth coming out for."
