HERALD reporter Sam Woodman captured the horror as the smoke plume appeared by Lancing College after a WWII Hurricane aircraft crashed.

Show announcer Peter Eager sounded audibly shocked as he told the crowd about the accident shortly before 3.30pm on Saturday, September 15.
