VIDEO: Worthing MPs host street surgery to discuss expenses
SCORES of Worthing residents turned out in the sunshine today (Saturday, May 30) to interrogate the town's MPs about their expenses.
MPs Tim Loughton and Peter Bottomley held the town centre street "surgery" in South Street Square to hear constituents' views - but angered residents had to wait for Mr Bottomley to arrive 30 minutes after the gathering was supposed to start.
Questions put to Mr Loughton and Mr Bottomley included what parliament will be doing to restore the public's faith in MPs and why MPs have a second home rather than commuting.
Click the green play button to see some of the reaction to the street "surgery".
