VIDEO: Police raid Lancing cannabis cafe for 'final' time

POLICE have carried out the seventh and 'final' raid on Lancing's controversial cannabis cafe.

Officers sealed off Freshbrook Road at 11am today (Tuesday, April 28) and carried out a search of the building, but found no-one inside.

Adur police Chief Inspector James Asser said: "The building has been used habitually for the sale and supply of controlled drugs. This we hope was the final raid on these premises."

Police executed a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act to search the premises, which will now be handed over to court bailiffs.
