THE count has been completed in the Arundel and South Downs constituency, which includes Steyning, Upper Beeding, Findon, Angmering, Storrington, Pulborough and Arundel.

The candidates are listed below with the number of votes polled.

Nick Herbert (CON) 32,333

Derek Deedman (Lib Dem) 15,642

Tim Lunnon (Labour) 4,835

Stuart Bower (Ukip) 3,172

Turn out 72.2 per cent

Nick Herbert (Conservative) – 24,752 49.8 per cent

Derek Deedman (Liberal Democrat) – 13,443 27.1 per cent

Sharon Whitlam (Labour) – 8,482 17.1 per cent

Andrew Moffat (UK Independence Party) – 2,700 5.4 per cent

Mark Stack (Protest Vote Party) – 313 0.6 per cent
