A WORTHING nightclub manager who smashed a world record by dancing continuously for 131 hours has raised well over £1,500.
Steve Stevens, manager at Angelik nightclub, on the pier, broke the world record last month and raised £1,613 for St Luke’s Hospice in Sheffield, which supported his friend Rebekah Stanley, who died from breast cancer last year.
This amount was matched and donated to Chestnut Tree House hospice, Angmering, by Angelik nightclub owner Kevin Churchill.
Chestnut Tree House community fund-raiser, Denise Thornton, said: “This money will make a real difference to the lives of the families that we care for.”
