WORTHING High School has received £552,000 of funding to replace all of its windows and three boilers.

The school applied to the 2014 Academies Capital Maintenance Fund, in January, for funding for three major projects.

Two applications were successful – a £499,000 grant to replace 251 windows, many of which are originals from 1914, and £53,000 to replace three boilers.
