TWO motorists were recently put in danger and out of pocket after falling victim to potholes.

The front tyre of Aaron Thorpe’s car burst as he approached the Findon roundabout on the A24 last Wednesday.

The incident cost him £80 following a call-out to a tyre company.

Aaron, 42, of West Parade, Worthing, said: “My tyre immediately burst. This is a busy dual carriageway and I’m surprised that more cars have not been damaged. This is extremely dangerous as I nearly veered into the side of the road.

“The council really do need to get a grip of this problem.”
