Worthing knife robber hunted
A MAN was robbed at knifepoint as he walked towards Worthing railway station.
The victim, a man in his mid 20s, was walking north along Victoria Road at around 11.50pm on Friday (October 10) when he was approached by another man.
The man asked the victim for his wallet, which was refused, before he produced a large kitchen knife and repeated his request.
The victim then handed over the wallet and more than 100 in cash.
The robber is described as white, 35 to 40 years old, around 5ft 9ins tall, of slim and muscular build with short, dark cropped hair gelled into a 'French crop' and some stubble on his face.
He spoke with a southern accent and was wearing a dark jacket and dark trousers.
Police said the victim was unhurt in the ordeal but was left "extremely distressed".
