Men in court over Pavilion Road stabbing in Worthing

THREE men appeared before Chichester magistrates yesterday (August 22) in relation to a stabbing in Pavilion Road, Worthing, on Saturday, August 11.

Jeremiah Reynolds, 24, from London, a 17-year-old boy from London and a boy, 16, from Worthing were arrested on August 20 and have been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent.

The two youths cannot be named for legal reasons.

They appeared at Chichester Magistrates’ Court and were bailed until November 2.

The victim, a 25-year-old local man, was stabbed in the thigh and abdomen following a party held nearby and is still in a critical, but stable condition.

Patrick Brookes, 25, unemployed of Clifton Road, Worthing, has already been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and has been remanded to Lewes Crown Court on November 2.

A 19-year-old man from London has been arrested for the same offence and has been bailed to 29 September.
