Found and lost, by Maureen Mills

When I opened the door that Christmas morning, he looked so forlorn slumped in the snow.

I surrendered willingly, I took him in. With those big brown eyes fixed on me I had no choice.

Then on New Years Day the snow cleared. That was it. My snowman was just for Christmas. Sadly someone else’s husband went back to someone else.
