GLORIOUS conditions blessed the Worthing Harrier’s 20-mile road race on Sunday, March 27.
More than 400 people from across the country entered the race, with many competitors using it as a practice run for the up-coming Brighton and London marathons.
The four-lap race began in Amberley Drive, Goring Gap, and tested runners over a five-mile, loop course.
The coveted first place went to Steven Way from Bournemouth AC, who finished in 1:52:22 in the senior mens’ category, beating the rest of the field by more than a minute.
Farnham Runners’ Sarah Hill was the first woman over the finishing line, placing her 17th. She completed the course in 2:11:06.
