Police appeal to trace owners of stolen bikes

POLICE hope to reunite two bikes they believe were stolen after recovering them from a property in Worthing.

Both bikes, a men’s Specialized Stuntjumper and a women’s Marin bike, were found following a search of an address on Eriswell Road in Worthing on July 11.

Neither of the high value bikes appear to have been reported stolen

Anyone who recognises them is asked to contact police on 101 or email [email protected] quoting serial 536 of 11/7.

Six people, four men, an 18-year-old, a 22-year-old, a 26-year-old and an 18-year-old, and two 23-year-old women, have been arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods and have been bailed until September 4.
