Police name pedestrian who died in Lancing collision

A PEDESTRIAN who died in a collision in Lancing on Wednesday, September 19, has been named as Lewis Locke.

Emergency services were called to the junction of North Road and Sompting Road at 3.52pm, where Mr Locke, 91, from Windsor Way, Lancing, was in collision with a Daewoo Matiz driven by a 23-year-old woman from Durrington.

Mr Locke died on Thursday at Southampton General Hospital.

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information should contact police on 101 quoting Op Kington.
