Police seek Worthing purse thief

The woman’s purse was stolen from her bag in Victoria Park, Norfolk Street.

The incident happened shortly before 4.15pm on Tuesday while the victim’s bag was briefly left unattended on top of a child’s pushchair.

The suspect – a woman aged 25 to 30, 5 ft 8 in, with short bleached blonde hair, wearing a black-and-white patterned dress and carrying a shoulder bag – made off in the direction of Cobden Road.
