GIRL Guides having been helping to wrap Christmas presents to raise money for the homeless.

The Christmas wrapping event was held by Worthing Churches Homeless Projects at the Guildbourne Centre last Saturday.

Abi Harley, volunteer co-ordinator and community fundraiser, said : “Town centre shoppers could come along throughout the day and have their presents wrapped for £1, just in time for Christmas.

“The charity was helped by 10th Worthing Guides, who did a fantastic job of wrapping people’s presents.

“The girls worked really hard to wrap everyone’s presents and helped make it a successful event.”
