RESIDENTS at a sheltered housing complex in Worthing have supported the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning for the second year running.

The event was organised by Sandra Philcox and saw manager Bernie Bellas handing out slices of cake at Oakland Court, Gratwicke Road, on Wednesday, September 30.

Sandra said: “We started it last year and had a good event, raising £220. This year, we made £360.

“It was organised for the block and included a raffle and lucky dip.

“People are very generous because so many people have had someone helped by Macmillan nurses at one time or another.”
