Second Goring Cubs visit newsroom
CUB Scouts visited the Herald & Gazette offices this afternoon to see how local newspapers work.
Children from 2nd Goring Cubs were shown around the news desk and created headlines before taking a break with orange squash and biscuits.
Jeanne Greenyer, Cub leader, said: “The visit will be towards the community challenge which is one of six the Cubs have to get to achieve the Chief Scout Silver Challenge – the highest award Cubs can get.
“The Cubs all got thoroughly involved and seemed to be enjoying themselves.”
