Local estate agency Fox & Sons, part of the Sequence UK group, helped to raise a fantastic £13,080 in 2013 for CLIC Sargent, the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people, and their families.

Staff from across the UK took part in numerous fundraising events throughout the year to raise the amount for CLIC Sargent, which Sequence has adopted as its chosen charity since 2001.

Since starting the partnership Sequence has helped to raise in excess of £350,000.

Fundraising activities during 2013 ranged from football tournaments and golf days to personal challenges and annual gatherings and they were each met with fantastic attendance and generous donations.

Eddie Conroy, branch manager of Fox & Sons Lancing, said: “It’s great to see that Sequence UK has raised such a significant amount of money for CLIC Sargent.

“My team here are always thinking of ways to raise money and we all really enjoy getting involved with the activities to help such a magnificent cause.”

Lucia Martinez, area fundraising manager for CLIC Sargent, said: “On behalf of CLIC Sargent I would like to say an enormous thank you to Sequence employees for their continued support.

“So many of Sequence branches across the country have fundraised throughout 2013 to help children and young people with cancer, and their families together have raised a fantastic total of £13,080.

“Every day 10 families in the UK hear the devastating news that their child has cancer. CLIC Sargent is the only charity offering them all round care and support every step of the way.

“We are hugely grateful for Sequence’s efforts in 2013 and are delighted that they are continuing their support for 2014 too.”
