Supermarket staff in Worthing set fundraising target

STAFF from Worthing’s Iceland supermarket are hoping to raise £3,000 for the Royal British Legion with a week of fundraising events.

Concerts, selfie opportunities with Daleks and more, have been arranged to take place throughout next week to help towards the supermarket chain’s £1 million national target.

Karen Hill, Iceland staff rep in Worthing, said: “The Iceland in Worthing is like a family.

“This year, because of the closeness in the store, we have pulled out all the stops. We are desperate to raise £3,000, it would be wonderful.”
