A MOBILITY charity in North Lancing received £4,000 last week from one of its suppliers.

Freedom Powerchairs is a small local mobility charity on the Lancing Business Park, which makes custom mobility aids.

One of the charity’s trading arms is Freedom Resource Recovery (FRR) – a charity recycler of commercial and industrial equipment – which presented the generous amount to the charity last Wednesday.

Trustee and volunteer at the charity, Martin Osment, received the cheque from Martin Pillar of Easikit Modular Conveyors.

Mr Osment said: “It’s a tremendous boost with our efforts to help disabled people in the Adur area.”
