Three arson attacks in Worthing

A SPATE of arson attacks took place in Worthing overnight yesterday (Tuesday, October 18).

Firefighters from Worthing were called at 10pm yesterday to the Durrington Community Centre car park, in New Road, Durrington, following reports a skip was on fire.

A couple of hours later, just after midnight, the crew was called to the area behind a bank in Liverpool Road after a bin was set alight.

At approximately 1.45am today (Wednesday, October 19) Worthing firefighters were called to Union Place, in Worthing, after a wheelie bin outside the Connaught Theatre was set on fire.

All three fires are being treated as arson.
