Part of Worthing’s Titnore Lane will be closed for 11 days while Southern Water installs a new water main.
From November 16 to November 27, a traffic diversion will be in place for motorists travelling between Titnore Lane and the A27 via the A280.
A Southern Water spokesman said: “We are installing a new water main along Titnore Way, from the junction with Titnore Lane to the roundabout junction with Fulbeck Avenue.
“Once complete, the work will help to ensure a more reliable water supply for people in the area.
“The first stage of the work began in September when the new pipe was installed along Titnore Way.
“This final phase is to connect the new pipe into the existing water network and will require a road closure of a short section of Titnore Lane, at the junction with Titnore Way.”
