Police have released this CCTV image of a man who chased a 13-year-old boy and assaulted him.
The man is said to have been annoyed at the boy after a bottle was kicked along the ground in Worthing.
The boy was pursued by the suspect along Montague Street on Saturday, October 13, at 1.15pm.
He became scared and ran into The Brighthouse shop where he hid behind the counter.
The man then grabbed him and took him outside and assaulted him.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: “The boy was not injured but was left shaken and upset. Anyone who witnessed the incident or recognises the suspect, should contact police on 101 quoting serial 0947 of 13/10.”
