MORE than two weeks after being stabbed in Worthing, a young victim remains in a critical condition.
The incident, which happened in Pavilion Road on Saturday, August 11, resulted in the 25 year-old man undergoing emergency surgery at the Royal Sussex County Hospital, in Brighton.
He had been stabbed a total of three times in the thigh and abdomen.
Patrick Brookes, 25, was charged with grievous bodily harm at a magistrates hearing in Worthing and was remanded in custody until November 2. He has denied the charge.
In a separate hearing at Chichester Magistrates’ Court, 24-year-old Jeremiah Reynolds from London and two teenage men, aged 16 and 17, have also been charged in connection with the incident.
Another 19-year-old man from London has now arrested regarding the incident and has been bailed until September.
