THE A259 in Rustington was closed for 90 minutes today (Monday, December 12) after a man crashed his car into a tree.
The accident happened on the westbound carriageway of the A259 just before the Shell garage at 12.25pm.
A man, believed to be in his 20s, had to be cut out from his car by fire crews from Littlehampton and Worthing.
He suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries and was conscious and breathing when he was taken to hospital.
The road re-opened at 2.10pm.
