Storrington car crash victim named

A WOMAN who died in a two car crash in Storrington on Thursday, August 11, has been named.

68-year-old Cecelia Hearn of East Street, Amberley, died after the silver Ford Fiesta she was driving collided with a blue Saab in Amberley Road at around 5pm.

Her passenger, a 69-year-old woman from Amberley, is recovering in the Royal Sussex County Hospital, in Brighton, after she was seriously injured in the crash.

A 44-year-old woman from Tangmere, who was a passenger in the Saab, was taken to Worthing Hospital with an ankle injury and serious brusing, but has now been released.

The driver of the Saab, a 40-year-old man from Guildford, and a 69-year-old woman from South Africa, who was a passenger, were treated at Worthing Hospital for minor injuries.
