Teenager dies at West Worthing railway station

POLICE have confirmed a teenager died at West Worthing railway station today (Thursday, November 24).

At about 3.17pm this afternoon, paramedics were called to the railway station amid reports a man collapsed on the platform of the station.

British Transport Police (BTP) spokeswoman said: “The incident was reported at 3.17pm and is being treated as non-suspicious.

“Paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service attended but the man, who is believed to be aged 18 and from the local area was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

“A file will now be prepared for the local coroner.”
