UPDATE: Road reopen following collison

Police have confirmed that Marine Parade, Worthing, has been reopened following a collision.

A spokesperson for Sussex Police: “Emergency services were called at around 2.20pm on Thursday (December 15) following a one vehicle collision in Marine Parade, Worthing by the Dome cinema.

“There are no serious injuries currently reported.

“It is believed one or more occupants may be mechanically trapped.

“There are no further details at this stage.”

West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they were also on the scene.

A spokesperson for WSFRS said: “We were called to the incident at 2.20pm to reports of a collision.

“There are no serious injuries to report.

“We have now handed it over to the police.”
