Tributes paid to Shoreham teen killed in motorbike collision

TRIBUTES have been paid to an “amazing”, “kind and thoughtful” teenager, who died after coming off his motorbike in Lancing.

Gary Attwater, 18, suffered severe head injuries in the collision, which happened at about 4.25am, on Friday, June 8, in Brighton Road, Lancing.

He was taken to specialist neurological hospital, Hurstwood Park, in Haywards Heath, but, sadly, died later that day.

Gary, of Gosport Court, Harbour Way, was a first-year student at Worthing College.

Gemma Griffiths, who was in his class, said he was “a truly amazing guy”.

“He was so kind and thoughtful, and was great with everyone. He was such a smart guy as well. “He will truly be missed by everyone. It’s such sad news. It is unbelievable,” she said.
