Two arrested on affray after incident in Worthing street

TWO men were arrested on suspicion of affray after an incident in a Worthing street on August 2.

A witness called the police when three men arrived in a car and forced their way in to a house in Eriswell Road.

Officers arrived to find three men in the street, one of which had a small cut to his head.

One of them ran from the officers and has not been traced. He is described as being in his early 20s, 6’ tall, of slim build with short, dark hair and wearing black jogging bottoms and a grey hoody or jacket.

Response investigator Kimberley Duke said: “I ask anyone who was in the Eriswell Road, Rowlands Road or Shelley Road area that morning and who may have seen a man matching this description to contact us via [email protected] call 101, quoting serial 479 of 02/08.
