A 25-YEAR-OLD suffered stab wounds following an altercation in Pavilion Road, Worthing, in the early hours of yesterday morning (Saturday, August 11).
Police were called to the road at 2.20am where they found the man, believed to be local, on the ground.
He was attended to by paramedics before being taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton, where his condition is stable.
He is being treated for three stab wounds, two to his abdomen and one to his thigh.
The victim had been at a party nearby before the incident.
DI Dave Richards said: “We are appealing to anyone who witnessed what happened to call us direct on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. There were about 30 people at the party and I would appeal to them and anyone in the area who may have information or seen what happened to come forward.”
Two men, aged 21 and 25, have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
