UPDATED: Motorcyclist taken to hospital following crash near Southern Water

Emergency services were called to the accident at 7.50am, which happened at the junction of the A2032 Littlehampton Way with Yeoman Road and Palatine Road.

A police spokesman confirmed the motorcyclist had crashed onto the road.

He said: “He sustained minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Worthing Hospital for treatment.

“The motorcycle, a Kawasaki 650, has been recovered.”

The accident had caused Yeoman Road to be blocked, however this has now reopened and the accident has been cleared.
