FLAMES roared, dignitaries were lifted into the sky and children played with smiles on their faces at this year’s Worthing Fire Station open day.
The popular annual event provided fun for all the family and promoted the importance of fire safety.
Mark Parker, 38, from Littlehampton, visited the open day with his family.
He said: “It’s for my son. He just loves fire engines, he loves Fireman Sam and we thought we’d show him the real firemen. It’s brilliant. It’s nice and busy, and perfect weather for it as well.”
