VIDEO: Pilgrims set to flock to Arundel for Carpet of Flowers

Thousands of pilgrims are expected to visit Arundel Cathedral for the Carpet of Flowers display marking the feast of Corpus Christi.

A large team of women from the cathedral parish worked throughout the day yesterday (Tuesday, May 24) to prepare the spectacular carpet and other floral arrangements, this year on the theme of the Year of Mercy declared by

the Pope.

After two days on view to the public, the festival is due to end with mass at 5.30pm on Thursday, May 26.
