Hundreds congregated at Worthing’s war memorial today to mark Armistice Day with a two minute silence.
School children, residents and veterans in Worthing joined the nation for a two minute silence to honour those lost in conflicts since the beginning of the First World War.
The town centre fell silent at 11am, marking the time when Allied Forces declared an end to fighting with Germany 97 years ago.
