WORTHING students are taking to the beach today (Saturday, June 23) for a special celebration of Shakespeare.
More than 100 young people from the town’s secondary schools have this week been performing some of Shakespeare’s great works at various locations along the seafront.
The Shakespeare festival culminates today with performances of some of Shakespeare’s greatest works.
The Comedy of Errors was performed earlier at Splash Point, but the following performances can still be watched for free:
-The Tempest – 2pm to 3pm, Splash Point
-Macbeth – 3.30pm to 4.30pm, East of Splash Point
-A Midsummer Night’s Dream – 5pm to 6pm, Waterwise Playground
-Much Ado About Nothing – 6.30pm to 7.30pm, Splash Point
See the Worthing Herald on sale from Thursday, June 28, for pictures from the festival.
