West Sussex firefighters off to New Zealand earthquake zone

SIX specially trained West Sussex firefighters are flying to New Zealand to help victims of the earthquake that struck Christchurch on Tuesday, February 22.

The six West Sussex firefighters are from the Technical Rescue Unit (TRU) based at Horley, are Ian Smith and Brian Vincent from Worthing, Neil Graham from Shoreham, Peter Thorpe-Hincks from Steyning, Jon Lacey from Haywards Heath and Rob Negus from Hove.
