CHEFS at a Storrington care home cooked their best roasts this week as part of National Roast Dinner Week.
On Wednesday, Care South’s Sussexdown head chef Richard Dore cooked the first of the week’s three roasts.
Richard said: “I’ve worked hard on my recipes, to make sure they have all the elements a good roast should. Hopefully the judges will be impressed.”
The Home’s residents will vote on which roast they liked best and the winning dish will be nominated for Britain’s Best Care Home Roast award to be decided on October 21.
