WEST Sussex Fire and Rescue has announced today (Wednesday, April 27) it is treating two fires in Worthing and Lancing as arson attacks.
Worthing fire fighters were called to a playground off Northbrook Road, in Broadwater, just after 9.40pm yesterday (Tuesday) after rubbish was set on fire in the park.
Then Lancing firefighters were called to North Road, Lancing, just before midnight after a bin was set alight.
A fire crew from Worthing was also called out to a park in Sompting Road, Broadwater, just after 8.30pm yesterday (Tuesday) after a bench was set alight in the park by children.
Currently it is not being treated as arson.
