SHREK, Super Mario and five other cartoon characters climbed 3,500ft up a mountain to raise money for a Worthing girl last month (May 30).
The group of fund-raisers scaled Mt Snowdon, in North Wales, to raise money for one of the group’s daughters - who has a rare genetic disorder.
Paul Lynch’s daughter, Jennifer, 10, has Wolfram Syndrome – which can cause diabetes, visual impairment, deafness, and both bladder and neurological problems. There is currently no cure for the condition.
Paul, 40, of Church Way, Worthing, said the expedition raised more than £6,000 for WellChild – the charity that looks after his daughter.
