On Monday, March 13, 42 students from Klostermarksskolen, a private school in Aalborg, Denmark, came to visit Worthing High. The visitors, all aged between 15 and 16 years old, spent the day immersing themselves in a British school.

Their day started with a presentation from the student council about Worthing High, outlining how the school operates, what a normal day is like and hints of what they were likely to expect whilst spending the day in Worthing.

The Danish students then spent two hours in a variety of lessons and having a tour of the entire school, visiting classrooms and meeting Buddy, the school dog. Worthing High students were really keen to find out how education is delivered in an another country.

Mr Panayiotou, Worthing High School headteacher, said: “It was a great opportunity for Worthing High School to host our Danish guests and hope that these experiences will remain with our students for a very long time.”
