A MAN who violently attacked a parking attendant was sentenced to 16 months in prison earlier today.

Dale Fish, 21, of Brighton Road, Worthing, had previously pleaded guilty to charges of dangerous driving and causing Actual Bodily Harm (ABH). He was sentenced at Chichester Crown Court.

Judge Christopher Parker QC banned Fish from driving for two years and sentenced him to a total of 16 months in prison. He must serve at least half of that time before release.

Judge Parker said: “This was an attack on a young man doing his public duties in the open street. There’s no way that he or anyone in his position should have to put up with abuse, never mind serious violence such as this, by people like you.”
