DRIVING rain could not dampen the spirits of those who took to the streets today to celebrate the Queen’s diamond jubilee, in Worthing.
Parties were held today, June 5, in Burch Court, in Park Road, Douglas Close, Athelstan Road, Valencia Road, St Wilfred’s Road, St Michael’s Road, and Hillview Road, Findon Valley.
The Herald attended the party in Hillview Road, where residents were not letting the rain stop them from celebrating.
They took to the street for face painting, a bouncy castle and a candy floss machine, before the rain drove them under the marquee for a quiz.
