A SAMARITANS volunteer has started a 6,500-mile, 49-day motorcycle around the UK.

David Exley started his journey from the charity’s Worthing branch in Lennox Road, on Monday (July 2).

He will finish in Cardiff on August 20.

The 64-year-old from Pulborough has very personal reasons for doing his David’s Way Round challenge.
