Worthing schoolgirl competes in Open Mic UK

Kirsty Fallowfield from Worthing preparing for the open mic competition

WORTHING schoolgirl Kirsty Fallowfield is having another stab at top musical success when she appears at the Hove Centre on Saturday (October 1).

The 15-year-old rock/soul singer is a regional finalist in the Open Mic UK competition.

If she wins through to the grand final, at the O2 Arena, Kirsty will be aiming for the ultimate prize of a management and recording contract, £15,000 towards releasing a single, plus a UK tour.

Kirsty, who lives in Littlehampton Road, has previously reached the semi-finals of the Live and Unsigned singing competition, only one step from the O2.

Kirsty currently attends the St Philip Howard Catholic High School, at Barnham.
