SETTING her young sights on London’s O2 Arena is a 13-year-old Worthing singer whose vocal talents match her big ambitions.

Bryony-Rose Brookman, of Radnor Road, won her first competition when she was three years old – and now she has reached the area finals of Teenstar UK 2013, which are being held at Portsmouth Guildhall on Saturday (May 18).

Her mum Linda says she has a good vocal range which enables her to encompass a wide repertoire of singing styles.

Bryony-rose is a member of the upcoming, Worthing-based Luvettes girls’ band, which will be performing at this summer’s Durrington Festival, and at Worthing High School, where Bryony-Rose is a pupil.

She recently won the Rustington’s Got Talent contest, and now Bryony-Rose is hoping success at Portsmouth Guildhall will propel her into the national finals at the O2.
