Begging in town

I have just returned home from a visit to family members living in Worthing, and I was appalled to find that there is now begging going on in the streets.

We were accosted four times on a Wednesday evening when walking from Ambrose Place to Warwick Road – just a matter of a few hunded yards – by so-called homeless juveniles.

I have always looked forward to my visits to your lovely town but if this is not stopped, I, for one, will think twice about venturing out after dark in the area again.
