Carnival success

On behalf of the Rotary Carnival Committee, I would like to express thanks and gratitude to everyone who was involved in the Rotary Carnival on bank holiday monday.

There were Rotarians, their friends and family, stall holders, vendors and so many more people working together to ensure that the event went well and that the day was a success. I cannot actually thank anyone for the weather but what a lovely day !

It was extremely pleasing to see so many people waiting and watching the procession and indeed being very generous when they met the collectors.

Steyne Gardens was busy throughout the day with people enjoying the food, the attractions, the music, the stalls and most certainly the dog show.

Grove Lodge managed the show and entertained many dog owners with the variety of classes to enter.

They were even thoughtful enough to provide doggy paddling pools for the dogs to cool off in.

The entertainment on the stage throughout the day was varied and held an audience. The crew from Ivy Arch Studios worked well with all the musicians to keep the entertainment flowing.

The whole day was entertaining and to see so many people having fun makes organising an event like this worthwhile. A good day out in Worthing.
